I would like to introduce, the

Kipping Pullup

Using momentum and swinging of the legs, you propel your body up.
I used to call it 'body wave' yet now there is an official term - Kipping.
It is different too. instead of swinging, where your body's momentum causes you to go 45 degrees and you are inable to control your swinging, kipping is a completely controlled movement.
Alright, seniors and skeptical teammates, it may seem like a complete cheat.
Yet you will find that it is minimally easier than a normal pullup.
Ultimately, using the momentum of your legs, although you train less PER rep, you achieve a few other things.
First of all, your core/leg/shoulder muscles are trained to a higher degree
Your cardio is also tested, as you have to achieve a certain speed to constantly kip,
and this speed really wipes you out. trust me.
Lastly, you can achieve identical training for your forearms with additional reps.
and the best of all, although its not legit, as compared to a strict pullup,
you can do many more. i hit 40+ with this method...

Lastly, i'm not advocating kipping pullups for training, nor do i encourage to scam your pullup numbers using this technique. i just believe that for people with difficulties doing pullups - girls/some guys, i strongly recommend this, as the higher number of repetitions you'll be capable of will certainly aid you in pulling up =)

and as for physics students needing a mathematical claim, here you go:
Crossfit (a fitness/training organization) encourages kipping while doing pull-ups for the simple reason that the faster you move with a load the more "work" is being done.

Work = (force)(distance)/time.
more force in less time, greater work

Kipping-unorthodox, seemingly unethical/legit, yet it does train you, albeit differently from a strict pullup. so instead of writing it off as 'here goes cz rattling nonsense again', give it a go... its secksey, like me =D
and James says he uses it for his napfa *omg so its accepted by teachers?! =D*
and if Mr. 25 says so, lets go =D
