Hey everybody! Hope you all have done yourself justice for promos! And to the poor things who still have their final few tests, wish you all the best luck in the exam hall!

Anyway, back to where i left off on music again. Haha. Well maybe you have (or maybe never) ever wondered why there are so many confusing genres within music, and even more within alternative or indie music. Now that promos are over for me today, I don't wanna sleep just yet, so let me take you through my intepretation of the evolution of alternative music through the ages.

Today, we shall begin with the first music video i ever posted, which was "Don't wanna miss a thing" by Aerosmith. Well, basically, this was what was known as a "glam metal" band in the 1970s, where band members performed with an orchestra, usually had long and curly hair, and wore spandex cause they thought it was cool. They dominated the more alternative scene of the MTV in their day, till "grunge" bands came along with the likes of Nirvana, which was probably one of the reasons why alternative music doesn't appeal to James today.
